Tina Goin Lou Virginie Tra
Tina Goin Lou Virginie Tra is currently sociologist at Wild Chimpanze Foundation (WCF) in Guinea and associate researcher at Centre Suisse de Recherches Scientifiques in Côte d’Ivoire. She graduated of the University of Basel in Switzerland in 2018 in Social Anthropology. Her Phd thesis entitled „Si nos boeufs pouvaient voler. Gouvernance des Conflits d’Usage autour des Espaces Agro-pastoraux à Tienko, Côte d’Ivoire“ under the supervision of Prof.Till Förster (University of Basel) and Prof. Francis Akindès explored resource-use conflicts, looking at governance at the grassroots level. This research aimed at understanding resource-use conflicts from changes in the governance of agro-pastoral areas.
Tina holds a Master degree in Sociology from the University Alassane Ouattara (Côte d’Ivoire) on Management of Conflict between herders and farmers in Tienko, North Côte d’Ivoire. Her major interests are in qualitative research, governance of natural resources, conflicts’ analysis.
Tina is also member of the Educational Research Network for Network for West and Central Africa (ERNWACA) and the International Graduate School (IGS) North-South on global change, innovation, and sustainable development.
